I have an 02 viper running CPR's head mod, pipes, HH clutch kit and CPR recomended springs and jetting. I just installed Carbon tech CF reeds. I also had Don Pizor port the jugs. I'm also running a 23/37 gear with 8tooth drivers (1.82 ratio) and a 144 studded Ripsaw. I have transfer rods, engine torque limiter, bender opticool gasket, rear heat exchanger and C&A pro ski's.

Also just replaced the waterpump and installed new pistons/rings.

I'm trying to get the best 0-top end performance as I can on hard packed trail. Trying to do my best against my budies 800 revs, ZR900's, and 06 Mach Z, and modded F7. Do you have any suggestions on anything else I should do? Helix? more studs?

Oh I weigh about 190.

Anyone estimate top speed?

Dan

I would say that you won't run with the new Mach. To compare with a 170 HP sled you will need a CPR BB kit. That will give you comprable HP and then your set up will help to give you the edge. The ZR, Rev, and F7 should be close depending on how well they are set up and how well you are set up. I will amend my statement, if the Mach is bone stock you should be close. If it's setup well I think your out of luck.

By the way, if you want top end performance on hard pack, go with a 1" track. I too run a 1.25 ripsaw but I am out for a hot trail set up. I am similarly set up. 780 CPR, 136 ripsaw, HH clutching, and I am hoping to get past the good running Machs and ZR's. Now, my buddies with Mach's and ZR's are ported so they run a bit better than average, but it should be interesting. NOS is the new craze here in W MI. Lot's of 200-300 HP NOS sled this year.
