Hi :).

I noticed that the light in my speedometer is sharper then in my tachometer (rew counter). I figure the previous owner changed the bulb and somehow got the wrong watt number. However, I think the one with the sharpest light looks best, looks more "new" and fresh.

I`d like to put a bulb with the same watt number in the tachometer so that the light amount becomes even.

Can I somehow melt or hurt anything when using greater watt size?.

I bet that the bulbs used are the ones with "glass socket" and I remember that in my motorcycle they are 1,7W so I guess they are the same on the sled?.

Does anyone here by chance know the next "normal" watt size for these bulbs?.

Gees I might be lazy, guess it`s a one second job check on the sled:). But I bet those rubber bulb-holders are tricky to get out, only a guess though.

Try checking the resistance on the brighter bulb and also the dimmer bulb... An OHM meter is relatively cheap (probably under 10.00 at radio shack) They are called multimeters and do a bunch of different things... if the resistance is the same between the 2 bulbs,,, then there is a current loss issue...Gary Oles nosboy

Thanks fort he reply nosboy but you probably misunderstood, I know for sure that the previous owner changed the bulb, so it is only the bulbs:). (I asked him, he did not remember the watt size).

I`ll take them out to see tomorrow:).
