I'm looking for some input regarding the Heel Clickers/Heavy Hitter clutch weights. I'm considering a set of these, but ONLY if there is something to be gained over my current setup. Is either brand prefered over the other? If so, why? Seems by looking at the clutching chart many are using the Heel Clickers?

Sled is an 02' Viper with Bender pipes. The sled is currently set up to Benders specs with loaded 8EK's, yellow primary, unknown Bender helix, and red/yellow secondary. I don't know exactly what rivets or rollers are installed. Looks like a combination of a 4.6 and 3.5 steel on each weight?? Rollers appear to be stock.

This combo seems to work well. Engages around 4600 or so and shifts out at about 8500-8600. Sled pulls strong right out of the hole and doesn't seem to lose any pull up top. No real complaints, but I'm curious if I can do better. This is an aggressive trail sled and not used for dragging any set distances. Can I realize any gains from the HC/HH style weights or is their main benefit just easier adjustability?

Help me out experts!

If your sled is pulling optimum rpm,s & the belt ain,t slipping you will have minimal gains if any on a trail ridden sled.

Thanks Turk. I kinda thought that might be the case. Probably a waste of money in my case since the sled seems good as is and I don't need the quick adjustability.
