I'm not sure about the clutch side crank seal on my SRX. I'm in the process of replacing them and the clutch side doen't seem to fit right. The inner side of the seal seems to be tight against the crankshaft where it gets larger just before the bearing. The inner side of the seal has a lip with a spring just behind it. This lip is pushed up hard against the crank Its almost so tight that the seal won't go on the crank far enough to fit in the groves on the crankcase. I don't know if this makes any sense since its kind of hard to explain. I hope this isn't a crank problem since my old seal had the lip wore off. Any help would be apprecitated.
