87 Brovo help

I have an 87 Brovo that wont idle, starts an runs fine but dies
does that sound like a float problem or maybe time for a fuel pump rebuild?
cleaned the carb but that did not help

Did you clean the pilot jets?

I would make sure that the jets are cleaned or replaced. after that you may need to intsall new crank seals. Also check all fuel lines or just replace them and yes you can check the fuel pump.

Describe exactly what happens. Is it just idling and dies? Does it die when you hit the throttle? How long does it run?
Does it have a throttle override switch?
