I just changed the track on the srx with a 1.25 sixpitch. Now I have a a steady clicking sound coming from the drivetrain. It doesn't seem to be coming from the track anywhere. I must have F'ed something up putting it back together :o| . Any Ideas? She has reverse also. I was pretty disgusted so I haven't opened anything up yet. ;):D

u never think of this but try changing the belt. happend to me i forgot that i had a burnt belt on and after i but my new track back on and rebuilt the motor i had this clanking sounds i thought it was the chain sliping or the drive cogs sliping or somthing. turned out that there was just a flat spot on teh belt that made the sound at low speeds under like 20mph.

Well, after a cold one, I've opened the chaincase. Nothing unusual there. Checked the belt, that's ok. I'm puzzled. It reminds me of the sound the track clips make running over the upper plastic suspension thingamajigs on my old enticer. I'm trying to think of a way to spin everything while the chaincase cover is off. Maybe a drill and socket on the secondary bolt? I think the chain tensioner may come off. hmmmm........

Well, I eliminated the jackshaft and top bearing area. What I found was the left side heat exchanger protector is loose on the bottom and the track is hitting it and it taps against the exchanger. Never noticed it loose while putting the track in. Is the bottom rivited? I can't really see how it's attached at the bottom. Thanks for the help so far.
