Does any one know the name of the stuff you spray on head gaskets to reuse them . It was talked about last winter and I forgot the name.
It is copper gasket spray, available at any auto parts store.
use the Red Permatex Gasket Spray...copper dont work as good.

How about gasket shellack? it says it's good for metal gaskets? I don't have a local auto store,lol. but have some shellack? it's very sticky like tar stuff..........

I stoped at parts sourse on the way home he sold me copper in a tube
I think that should work .I will try Canadian Tire tomorrow and see what they have .

yes the red is better then the copper in this application...had the copper leak for some reason.
