Got a 96 600 Xt and I was wondering if anyone made a pipe for my sled? Im looking for something that will make it nice and loud but with more HP!

Well to let you down you will not find a after market can that will make hp. there are lots out there that will make it sound nice. But if you are looking for hp then get triple pipes if your sled is a triple. i am not sure if there is pipes for twin yamies

a guy i knew had some psi twin pipes for his 96 xt 500. so im sure u can find a set some where used. i dont think they make them any more tho.

I found some on ebay, a dealer wants 250 for a set of PSI pipes, is that a good price? Also they are in new condition.

aaen and psi made them for the twin 600"s.2001srx=fast the 96 was a complete exhaust system you can put a silencer on it.
Do any of you know anyone who has a used system or can get me a deal on a pipe?

If its a twin then do get pipes for it your better off stock but if youd like 2 hp and bout 10 pound weight savings and some sweet sound then get a silencer i got a bender can and i love the sound

The 94-96 twins have a SOLID ONE piece exhaust pipe and silencer it dosen't come apart you can't put a silencer on as posted above by pro116

I will just keep looking on the forum for something and ebay is a good source for parts too.
I do know where a set of psi's are I'm not shure if he will sell them I can find out if you would like?

For sure. If you want all of the power the pipes give you, also will have to look into some clutching.
Im not really looking for more HP, but rather more noise!
