Discoloring In Side Panels How do you Fix??

I had an accident with my machine. The side blue plastic took a hit and it whitened them from stress of the impact. Is there anyway to repair it? I have heard you can heat it up and it will come back, is this true? I don't want to go through the hassel to replace them if I don't have to. Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

I have done this with a heat gun, just be very careful on the amount of heat.

Yeah i have heard you take a "heat gun" and it will take the white out of the the blue. i have never tried it but i should one day.

Works great. I have done it and you can not tell where the bend was. Heat gun or a small propane torch works also.
