Yamaha Y.E.S. extended warranty

Any feedback on buying the extended warranty - does anyone have any experience with this - sounds like 3 additional years on my 03 viper for about $430.00

It'll pay for itself the first time it replaces the prone to cracking primary sheaves. The primary clutch is the only reason on Gods white earth to pony up for an extended warranty on a Yamaha.

No one else has an opinion - seems somewhat out of character here.

I piped my 02' and melted a piston. My dealer repaired the sled under the Y.E.S. warranty. I'm sure he never devolged the fact that it was piped but it still worked for me.
