I have a 99 sxr 600. It has Aaen triple pipes. HiTech encapsulated roller secondary and Thunder Shift Kit weights.
o in 1st hole 4.2 grams in 2nd hole and 1.8 in tip
Problem I can not get the RPMs above 5500 up to 30 MPH
then I can hold the 8800 all the rest of the way up.
Addl info 47 44 helix, red secondary Yamaha spring at 70 deg.
Have tried the yel gen yel, grn grn grn yam primary spring but the back shift is no good. Best has been the Aaen yel primary spring.

how many miles on the sled?, almost sounds like a worn bushing problem or a fuel delivery

Thanks Brad and BlueIron, Fuel and bushings are ok and the sled runs very strong above 30 mph. Just cant get the holeshot right as it shifts out at 6krpm, above 30mph it holds 8800rpm just fine.
So I guess I could go from a 47/44 helix to a 44/40 or 42 and do a flat on the rolling surface of the weight close to the pivot like the stock weight has.
Any thoughts please?
