How long should it take for a new top end(pistons rings renicasaled cylinders) to seat the ring before switching back to synthetic oil
Very the throttle for the 1st 100 miles ...

I put 188 miles on it last weekend took it easy and and ran up and down on the throtle the whole day

Start it warm it up for 10 min. then cool down for 1/2 hour do this about three times,upping the time buy 5 min. Then for the first 100 miles varie your rpms,but not wide open,after the first 100mile short bursts till 250 then go at it!Hope this helps

What about used rings on used cylinders, but new to each other. I am going to run Amsoil syn in it from the start. Maxdlx
