Has anyone here used or sat on a Viper with one of these seat risers. I'm considering one, but would like some feedback before I shell out $200 for a chunk of plastic. I do NOT like the look of the Boss seats, and don't want to spend that kind of $$ either, so that's out of the question.

Any info is appreciated. ;)!

Excell has some pics on the site. There is a pic of a riser equipped Viper in their customers sled gallery as well. I've done some "testing" with several items and found that 2" of rise under my butt would be very benificial to the knees as well as the sit/stand transition. (Okay, I used a pillow and also a phone book, neither of which offerd much in the way of cool factor) Imagine seeing that going down the trail. The phone book might come in handy for my Rev buddy to call a tow truck!

hard to tell from the pics but does that riser raise the whole seat or is it just like a wedge in the back? how high does it raise the seat?

we'll be trying one out this weekend. It does raise the entire seat, but the back gets raised more. I'll get a pic before and after install.

The seat riser worked really well. Definately need at least a 2" handle bar riser with it. I never rode the viper with it, but sitting on it it was a lot more comfortable. Install was a snap. Unfortuantely the pics didn't come out that well. I'll try again this week. PM tbalz as he rode it all day.

Here it is. A BIG thanks to Madmatt for hooking me up! ;)! Ride report to follow when we get more snow. Install takes all of about 8 minutes and this is a quality piece. Fit is perfect. Seating position is MUCH improved.

That was my fear as well, but the front is raised also. I don't think it will be an issue. It feels so much better having my knees lower. The sit/stand transition seems like it will be quicker as well. Thanks for the comp on the sled. It will look even better next week when it's sportin' some Ohlins rezzy clickers! Got a wicked clear/LED tail light going on as well. What a money pit! ;)!
