hey all,
after emoving my airbox to serve my carbs, im a bit concerned about the cable going to the oil pump. if im not mistaken, it adjusts right where it screws together close to the carbs right? the reason im concerned is that in removing the air box, i put a LOT of tension on that cable trying to wrestle it out....any way to be sure?

actually if your concerned about putting stress on it, I usually pull the cable out from the throttle lever and pull the cable through the steering column ,so u don't have to stretch the cable when removing the air box. Cause last year I yanked the cable and had to replace it. just some preventive maintenance.

just check the cable gap and compare it to the stock spec. If you think you stretched the cable the gap will be bigger, and you can adjust it back to spec.
