Hey guys, I have a gen 2 roller rooster, there are three allen bolts holding it onto the cover with one smaller one which looks like an adjustment, I can turn the helix about 1/2" in total, this will change my spring angle and change how it contacts the rollers, anyone know what's the proper way to adjust them????
I have attached a pic and highlighted the mystery allen screw......

That screw is for minor adjustments for settings between what you can get with the holes. Instead of a 60deg or 70 deg setting in theory you could have a 65deg setting. This is really a fine adjustment in my experience. I have always run the screw in the middle of the slot. Differences in snow will make way more difference in RPM than this will. About the only time I would worry about this is if you are drag racing on ice and have a consistent hookup every time.

That's exactly what Im doing, drag racing, im running benders red/yellow offset spring at 0 and 3 slots, (very stiff) I was thinking on making it a little less spring tension.........
