just picked up an '02 SRX 700 not long ago. Went 2 spin it around the yard, and fouled a plug. Installed new BR9ECS, started right up. Today it doesnt want to start. Really cold here over night. Throttle was froze tight. It popped a few times, aways dies to a backfire or at least a poof... After it poofs, the next time I try pulling it over it wont pull over almost like its seized. Might idle perfect fot about 20 seconds then die??????? What the heck?

If your throttle froze up, it's possible the cable came out of it's notch right up by the throttle. If so, this may cause it not to start. Not sure of the mechanical/electrical differences of the throttle between the SRX and RX1, but my cable came out at that spot and my RX1 would not start until it was back in its place.
