I was wondering what size of a stud I should use for a 1." 9830 track. I want to use woody's gold digger's. I was thinking 1.25 stud for a 1."track.

We use the 1.075 gold diggers and they work out great. I wouldn't go any higher then a 1.175 stud on a 1" track. After that it just gets risky and your studs will start to bend and rip out. Even on my 9830 with 1.075, many of my studs are alreadt bent with only 600 miles on the track.

with woodys, definately listen to matt and don't even think about putting in anything longer than the 1.175, or you will be bending them and breaking them and pulling them through like crazy. On the stock .92 track i think even 1.175 is too long, there is A LOT of penetration there. Woody's are longer than their numbers would indicate.
