when i go to accel with my 03 viper it will rev to about 3500 rpms and
not move any and it starts popping like its hitting a rev limiter then you let
it idle again and retry samething. and then try again and it takes off fine
till next time you stop.. and it does not always do it..
i just had a hacksaw track installed do you think it has something to do with it. i also noticed small nicks in my front heat exchanger from the studs .
i bought the track prestudded from richs. so ill give him a buzz too
thanks

It is the TORS kicking in, you either have the throttle cable too tight or the TORS is going out. Bypas it by unplugging it at the cabs, and plug the 2 wires from the handlebars back into each other. I'd bet if you loosen the throttle cable just a tic it will run fine. Maxdlx

do a search on it here that topic has been punded to death, youll get itt
if there still warenty on ur sled bring it back the tors switch behind the throttle may need to be replaced, it had to in mine(03 viper)
to see if its the tors just unhook it and if it goes away its the tors
there are 2 sets of wires located down by the carbs on the pullcup side. unplug the wires and plug and plug them into each other.
