Thanks for the tip on the wiring harness rub through on the sx700. I wasn't there to help but I called my brother and convinced him to pull the motor. He called three hours later, it was a blue wire that had worn through and was shorting out on the bulkhead. We put on a new stator AND cdi box last year, which it didn't need. OUCH! Thanks again.
