Hey guys,
does anybody know where I can get the replacement steel jacketed bushings for my secondary clutch. ('93 exciterII sx) Yamaha is telling me I have to purchase an entire new half...... but somebody made these bushings in the first place. Thanks.

Bushings
I'm not familiar with the Exciter secondary but I bought a primary & secondary rebuild kit for my Viper from Dennis Kirk. The kit has both secondary bushings and the buttons, washers, etc. The secondary kit was only about $15 I believe. The buttons & washers are basically junk but the bushings are good. Much cheaper than the ones from Yamaha. May want to look at them to see if they would work???

I think that someone is trying to take you for a ride try a new dealer
Because yamaha sells every thing seperately

This looks to be the "alternate" roller that you need...88R-17624-10-00
The standard doesn't look like it is two piece. Just go to the "microfiche" link on the main page and you can verify it.

The bushings I'm referring to are inside the helix side sheave of the secondary, where the shaft from the other half runs through. I've looked at yamaha's microfishs, and don't see these bushings listed seperately. I've been told I can't use straight brass in here....... which makes no sense. I'm sure arctic cat uses nylon bushings in this application.
