track rubbing on tunnel??

on each of my two sleds (02MM700 and 99VMax500) when riding through the rough stuff, I can feel and hear the track scuffing under the seat up inside the tunnel.... I realize that the track can and will bounce but why so much as to leave rubber scuffs all down the tunnel... track on MM is cut to 1.5 inches and 8 tooth drivers are back in... VMax is bone stock.... tracks are tightened to specs..

is this a Yamaha thing or need these tracks be guitar string tight?.. really is annoying..

any tighter on track and fuel efficiency will drop.... suspension is set up for my weight.....

just don't remember ever hearing/feeling this on other brands.... yet my sleds ALWAYS rubbed?????

it certainly tarnishes the ride quality...

Do you have ice building up? Was it really cold out when it happened?
