Just rebuilt the suspension in the ’80 ET250 – New shock and springs, and all fittings were removed, cleaned and re-greased. The suspension was re-installed in the sled. I can’t for the life of me figure out why it still sticks when being depressed. It’s a whole lot better than it was before I started as the shock and spring were shot. This should have some more spring, Yes????? Any suggestion would be helpful. The spring are set to the softer setting and I would expect this to improve if changed to the stiffer setting, but it still doesn’t make sense that there is no spring in the suspension.
