comet 108 exp belt adjustment

i just bought this clutch 108 exp its for newer exciter that has 1-3/8 belt the optional belt size is 1-1/4 thats what i need i just ordered spider tool and clutch holder but the instructions dont say if i should remove the 2 spacers 1 spacer hmmmmmm...... anyone done this before i dont want to do this three times to get it right thanks Richie

does anyone know what i should do change the primary or secondary spacing then id have to buy new belts too

basically the comets have around 4-5 shims inside and then with a new belt your engagement will be low like around 2000 rpms so decide on where you want to engage from then take 1 shim for 1000rpms out......good luck the first time
