Hey, They only make the six pitch track in 1.25 for the tallest lug for that style track. This track performs incredibly well in the lose stuff and powder. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

You can use a 1.5" with the stock 9 tooth driver's and no exchanger protector's, no problem. Some 1.75"s will also work depending on the track belt thickness.

I had a 1.5" polaris/camo soft lug on my srx with 9 tooth drivers. That thing was NUTS in the loose snow.

Man, the more "track" posts I read, the less I am sure about which track to choose.
I have a 99 SRX 700, and want to upgrade tracks.
WITHOUT REMOVING PROTECTORS, how tall a lug can I run with no rubbing??
I am considerring a Camoplast Ice-ripper, or rip/hacksaw

big track = fast srx in deep snow
the clipped every 3rd is to save some weight of the track, if your running stock 9 tooth drivers, you can go up to a 1.75" lug, BUT, you will need to remove the front heat exchanger protectors up front, I always remove the tunnel protector strips as well, if you dont have studs, you dont need them.
The benefit of running a clipped every window track is if your running anti-rachet drivers, these drive the track thru the windows as well, and lets you run the track looser witout racheting the track.
I love the 1.5-1.75" track on a srx, if you have good clutching/ suspension set up, you will eat up about any sled out in a field of fresh snow, they throw great rooster tails too!! It will take a tad bit of topend off the sled, but who cares when your 10 sleds ahead if you can only go 100mph, instead of 115mph
