My friend bought a 780 Max BB in the spring, so this is his first year with it. It has the second gen pistons in it so it is not the 175 hp version. Talking with Max he said about 160 hp.
Any body have experience with this motor or setup. How reliable is the bb? How well do they run. It has the 136 skid with 1.25 track. Previous owned loosened up the track and changed out the secondary spring for summer storage. He is not sure how to tighten up the track. Sounded like when he was trying to adjust it he was adjusting the traction rods.
So we could use some direction on that. Also the secondary spring that he needs to put in is a red spring. Any idea on what hole to put it in?
Thanks Bruce

to tighten the track you have to loosen the axle nut (19mm) and then tighten the adjuster nuts in the track windows from the rear of the suspension. If you look through the track windows you will see the nuts, they are 14mm. Make sure you get it aligned properly as well. Should be equal hangover past the idlers on both sides. If there is too much on one side, either tighten that side or loosen the other to push it the other way. Don't forget to retighten the axle nut and reinstall the cotter pin when you are finished.
