I have stitching coming apart in the seat crease of my '02 Viper. How do I get the front of the seat off? I get the back loose by the removing the nuts (he he, I said nuts) in the storage compartment, but can't figure out the front. Am I a moron (don't answer that, my wife always assures me I am)? Also, am I better off finding a used one or will it be worth while to fix?
Thanks.
Thanks.

take off the rear nuts, lift the rear of the seat up off the studs and pull back, the front simply slides in under the lip of the fuel tank, oh yea, you want to disconnect the wiring harness before you start to walk away with seat in your hands.....lol

upholstery shops should be able to fix that cheap and easy.

My SXR has an elastic strap up front from the seat to the tank.
I am not sure if the Viper has that.

We are going to be in Rhinelander from the 27th to the 8th. Are you going to watch the eagle river races?

No, that area is WAY to busy that weekend. We will ride north. Have you been through Three Lakes or will you be riding through there? I haven't had the opportunity to meet many TYers. We have a place on the Three lakes chain of lakes and our place is right on on of the lake trails. If you know where Pine Isle is, you are 2 lakes away from our place.
Also, will a regular staple gun work to get the cover back on? It seemed like I might need a different design du to the location of some of the staples. Good reason to go to Menards and buy some new tools too!
