151Viper

I have a 02 viper with a 151x2" track 8t drivers and 20/40 gearing and when I took it to cooke city last year I clutched it per yamahas clutching chart for a short track and it would only pull about 8000 rpm while climbing.(8Ek weights and 13.3 inner) I would like to raise the rpms about 4-500 rpm if anyone has a suggestion on rivets? In general is there a formula for grams and the amount of rpm's change there are? The engine is basically all stock. Any help would be appreciated.

Try running your weights empty and see where that puts you, then go from there. You will need to do some fine tuning for your setup and riding conditions.
...or you could just go right to the 8dn's that the mtn viper came with stock.

yep, i would pull some more weight out of the 8EK's and start from there. your pulling alot more track than the stock set-up, plus your using it to climb
