'01 SRX Fuel pump lines

Can anybody tell me the reason there is an oil delivery line that goes to the fuel pump??

Oil line comes from the oil pump to the fuel pump. The oil is mixed in the fuel pump with fuel then goes to the carbs.

Sorry for the dumb question. I had a brain fart. Did not notice there were not any lines going to the carbs. Thanks for the feedback.
