I just picked up some new CA skis for my 2000 Vmax700. My question to you is what size carbide should I put one them. I have a nonstudded .8 lug track on the machine that is in good condition. My old skis had 4" carbides but I think that 6" would perform a little better for the conditions the icy, hardpack I mostly ride in. Any feedback or insight would be great. Thanks

6" should work real well. The C&A's bite A LOT harder in the corners than the stockers, so be ready for a pleasant surprise. A lot of ski pressure and they are downright scary.

As yamaholic22 said, they bite hard. If you ride trails, I would use the 4"; without studs, the front will bite in corners and the a** will spin around. I have 4" and I had to wear them down before the a** end would quit passing me in the corners. On the plus side your friends will get a good laugh from watching you spin out.
