Assembled my 600 twin and while sliding the jug over the piston, ( greenhorn son helping ) bent a ring. I pulled it off and bent it back straight and reinstalled on the piston. It looks fine but I wonder ? Anyone have any experience with this ? I dont see any problems but need to ask. 
should be fine...just a slight bend....make sure to put the rings in the right direction with the little "T" to the top.
