I long traveled this thing over the summer bought hauch adj brackets but there is only about 3" of piston exposed on the shock! should I remove the brackets & just put the clevis end right onto the bulkhead? Thanks a bunch! P.S I heard yamaholic tell some one that the fron end looked so high it would corner like a church bus.

lol, i did say that didn't i? Anyway, no worries bro that ride height doesn't look too bad at all. A lot of viper front ends look just like that for ride height. If you find it to be too high you can always adjust the mount or shock preload to lower it some, but that doesn't look bad at all. Also the amount of piston exposed sounds about right, not near as much as you would think hey. My srx ohlins only have about two inches exposed at normal ride height, but because of the geometry the actual travel is much more. How did the install go for you?

How did you mount the hauck brakets to the viper. The bottom bolt hole is missing on mine to use the stock sx brakets. Maxdlx

Let me catch up with you first do you mean Viper shock? or viper sled? I have a 97 Sx there is a threaded hole in the bulkhead/ bought the brackets/ bought 2 bolts/ bolted them right on/ & the upper part of the bracket bolts under the hood.
