Larger rollers will increase your RPM's as they make the clutch feel like they have lighter weights. They will back shift better. They will not pinch the belt as tight so you might find you are slipping the belt. Doug
is there any advantage to doing that,couldnt you compensate by throwing more weight at it?I quess what I am asking is,is it better to go with bigger rollers so you can load the weights heavier?thanks-Harvey
Going with larger rollers can increase the engagement rpms also. This is due to the weight being tucked under more. I have used larger rollers to up the engagement, then added weight to keep the shift rpms the same.
