stock yamaha pistons, you cant do any better then them, they are a powdered metal forging, and the unique thing they have going for them is they dont expand as much or as rapidly as say a wiseco does, this is because of the metal(aluminum), that means they can run a tighter tolerance to the bore and provide better sealing capabilities plus when you use a wiseco the rings are thinner and will need to be replaced more often then the stockers will.
