02 viper with 136"x 1.25 track. sea level elevation, stock primary and secondary. also mbrp race can. 23/38 gearing with 8 tooth drivers. my problem is that on hardpack it will run the 85-8600 rpms, in deeper lighter snow it will only pull 7800-8000 rpms. also when i hit a snow drift sometimes my belt will spin in the secondary and i know that its not because of being wet. should i take out more tip weight(but then i would over rev on hardpack)
and for the belt slip put in a stiffer secondary spring? any help would very appreciated

gearing selection is holding you back. when you went to 8tooth divers (really not needed for the 1.25 set up you have listed unless you stud) it drasticly changed your final drive ratio. bring that back into line and you will be golden. ski
