I was wondering if it's just me or are more people seeing that the blue seal NTNs, that are supposedly best suited for sleds, dont last any longer than ordinary ones that are about 1/3 the price.I find that when I do my pre season check that there's just as many blue seals that need to be cleaned and repacked as the others.I replace only the ones that are beyond help due to the prices and availability of these so called snowmobile bearings.

i think all bearings in the skid last the same. i buy the cheapies, clean out the grease that comes in them and repack them with amsoil waterproof grease.

I find them shitty. I don't know what is on my sled now because the wheels are still good. So once I need to replace one and the stock bearing is still in there then Im going for the stock ones. The NTN's just did not stand up very well when I had my SX 700. I don't know if studs had anything to do with it but they where bad.

The NTN's did not last any longer for me. I'm back to running the cheap ones.
Shade tree had the best prices. $4.95 for the small idler bearings.
