I have a 04 ViperS that I just put a new hacksaw track in. I got it all done and adjusted and when i spin the track I can hear the front of the rails hitting the windows in the track, now I have the sled lifted by the bumper while I do this. The track turns but it seems those plastic covers on the end of the rails push into it pretty hard. The front shock is at the 3rd detent for preload and the limiters are set with about 1 inch of thread showing on the nut side. Is this normal or is this too much friction? I also have the low snow wheel kit on the skid. Thanks

this is normal when the sled is up in the air on a stand and ran. The front of the suspension extends freely and the rail end caps hit the track. It wont do it when the weight of the sled is on it sitting on the ground.

I was hearding that same noise from mine and thought the same. But then I was thinking maybe the track was a little too tight. But its ok.I'd check out both of those.
