Got two really big complaints about eBay. First, have you noticed that sellers aren't leaving feedback until the buyer posts his. I figured if I paid within 1 hour of the end of the auction, I should see feedback about me within 1 or 2 days. But no....they wait to see what you give them before they give theirs. Second, this is a new one for me. I see a snowmobile starter that I want. So I tag it to watch it four or five days before it ends. Seller does state that it is "untested, as is". Now...if your like me, all you look at is your "My eBay" section. You don't actually go to the page and look at it again. Well, the seller then adds/edits one day before it ends, "tested not working" God that frosts my b@ll$... Beleive me, from now on I'll check the page up until the minute the auction ends..

well

yes that is very upsetting, but even more are the ones who end auctions early. I was bidding on a set of new Bender pipes, and only bid 200 to start, and then 1 day into the auction it ends. Email the guy and he said he sold them for 300 bucks cause he needed money. I would have given that. I say if its a 7 day auction, it should have to stay for 7 days. Maxdlx

same thing happened to me while i was bidding on a set of power inc. pipes for my 700. i was winning but he cancelled the auction with 1 day 30 minutes left in the sale. guess he wasen't getting enough for them. talk about a rip-off!!! they were mine

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with ending an auction early. To my knowledge you can only do that on auctions that have a reserve and no one has bid above that. I sold a sled that way and cancelled the auction early because the reserve was at $3300, the highest bid was $1500, and had someone willing to pay me $3200. I'll take the money and run instead of waiting until the last day to see if anyone is going to bid above the reserve.

slackers

ebay is so slack, it sucks now. Look at the big guys in there, 25000 feedback and 5000 NEGATIVE!!!! WTFF is that all about?
You can end an auction at any time, in the last second if you use their excuse- broken, lost, blah blah blah. Ebay is all about them getting money now, they dont give a flying fcuk about anything else.
