switching out my junk TA for a new one, and have everything swapped over except a bushing of sorts. the bushing is in the TA back where it attaches to the sled by the footwells. the bolt passes through it, securing it to the sled.
i can't get this out, and need it for the new arm. tried tapping it with a hammer and punch, no luck. any suggestions?
thanks, brad

You need to use a press, they are a real tight fit. You can also cut the old arm to get it out, then press it in the new arm.
Or if your time is worth anything at all you can go to the dealer and buy a new one. They are like 10 bucks, heck they might even install it for you.

you cant give up that easy put the old one in a vise and cut 2 grooves with a torch grinder or hacksaw bend the metal away and remove bushing press it in the new one the same depth it was sitting with a tablevise.

gonna take it to the local car shop tomorrow and get it pressed out of the old one, and into the new. see how that works.
A vise and a couple sockets are all you need to get the old ones out. I usually replace with new ones when I do it though.
