help-headlight blinking on and off

looking for ideas. can't figure out whats causing my headlight to go out.it does it on both high and low beam and seem to have nothing to do with vibration because it will blink off and on when just sitting at an idle. there's no pattern to it either. sometimes it goes out for a second other times it goes out for a half a minute or so. i hope somebody has an idea . thanks

Check your wiring over for abrasion on the chassis and engine. If thats ok. Do you have an accessories like aftermarket bulbs or heated faceshield. If you do disconnect them. If thats not it your lighting coils may be bad. you will need them tested
