I have a Helix on my sled now that says 1 2 3 on it do you know what this means what the pitch is or who makes it, there is no other writing on it...just curious..

thats for setting the degree of twist of the spring.the #'s stand for degrees.if you take off the helix your clutch will also have #'s and if you combine them you will get the degree of twist on your clutch.example 3 and 3 would be 60 degree.

Only way to find out what its angles are(with any kind of accuracy) is to put it on a digital cad machine. There is another tool that reads angles but I cant remember what the name of it is off my head. My machine shop here does helix checks for me and gives you a 3 dimensional cad drawing and your exact angles for $25 each. I get them done all the time. Its not cheap, but neither is buying more helix's and the wrong ones at a $100 each. At least this way, you know what you have and can make a educated decision on what way you need to go, before spending another wasted $100.
Really helps out on the aftermarket ones from like Bender, hauck,Maxx, where even after you buy it, they wont divulge the angles to you, I know what they are exactly this way.

9870 is NOT a 53/43

Yes, I have alot of bender and hauck helix's checked, but I had to pay to get them done, I am not gonna post all the information, sorry no offense intended.

Hey the 1 2 3 is ingraved on the helix it's not to set degree. Someone said it may be a bender. Anyone. The arms are off a v-max 4 does anyone know if they are suppose to work good. Stock spring, not sure about the weights thou. Tack showed 200km/hr when I tryed it., reving around 8500 rpm's. I'm going to try it again this weekend I just bought studs, and will pay more attention then...

Later..
