I did the samething on my 98 SRX on our first ride, only 114 miles on the sled, first of a three day trip! Had to rent a Z440(fan cooled) for the next two days, top speed of 81mph in the U.P. sucks!! ;):D
 
That may not be such an easy fix by the looks of that shock....I hope it didn't take the bulkhead with it. Sweet sled though!!
 
When I did one that looked just like that it was 3800.00 dammage. Sorry to see a nice sled like that take a nasty hit.
 
Thanks for the creds is alot on the sled that have been done that cant bee seen on the pic and its only the parts that look damaged that needs to be replaced, already got it all, even got a new pair of KYB xtc shockers for whopping 28$ anyone ho can tap that :WayCool:

By the way the mxz800x owner i raced against in the woods, is probly at home and crying for his defeat :yam: :yrules:

ds. i am vmaxsledder lost my password and yamaha never gave me a new one so made a temperarily account but i am thinking on changing to PSI man as it says on my sled
 
That sucksss happin to my sled awile back but insurence covered it, woulda been totaled becuase the tunnel was bent ware the arm attaches but managed to bend it back, it wasnt my sled then it was my dads and my brother was riding it dad wasnt to happy damn railroad tracks :die:
