Got a viper that will only turn 7500-7600 rpms any one got any ideas why? Took it to the dealer and they replaced all the power vavles and said it was all set. Next ride out it did the same thing.

What do the plugs look like? Done a compression check? I woudl have guessed it is the PV's but if they are new I would confirm they are working by get the sled to idle them choke it to bring the rpms down to 900 and if you open PV servo cover (3 screws located way up near the air box on the PTO side), if that opens the valves you can be assured they are working.
Done any clutch work lately?

Sled has 7500 miles on it, power valves seem to be ok, primary spring is new.The strange part is some times it will go to 8400-8500 rpm but most of the time it wont.
Any chance the cdi could be changing the timing?
