Just installed SLP pipes on my Viper. When closing the hood the molded head light part of the hood hitting the top pipe is there something I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions.

double check your spring location and pipe clearance. you maybe hitting somewhere else and causing the top pipe to be alittle higher than it should.
make sure the front left bumper brace is not touching the pipe (might have to cut it alittle for clearance).
the lamp is close to the pipe but should not touch. also make sure to remove ALL foam the directions from slp tells you to (and then some) and liberally apply the heat reflective tape EVERYWHERE!
the pipes are close in a few areas but they do not require mallet denting like other mfgs, to get the clearance you need. ski

Thanks skidooboy just call me stupid. buddy was giving me a hand, when he put the air box on he routed the throttle and choke cable over the top of the box. Moved them to there proper place and bingo hood closes perfect.
