I am working on an 02 Viper. The grips are in good shape and when 12v are applied directly to them they heat up. The supply from the CDI to the resistors is 4.2 volts and I get the same reading at the grip wires. Can someone help.

Sounds like a warranty problem to me. Is the sled still under warranty?
