a lot of times it can be fairly easy to get water in the tank and so on. So just as a precaution i figured every now and then i would put something in to try and keep water out. But i have heard that Dry gas can be really bad for a snowsled engine. What would you guys suggest that i put in?

Thanks

I put just a little Sea Foam carb cleaner in my tank. It's a carb cleaner but I think it's also supposed to "dry" the gas out. I usually only put additives in in the spring though...unless I'm very suspect of bad gas.

Get a pump and pump it out once in a while and pour it back in through a funnel that separates water from gas. Thats what I do at least.

rubbing alcohol from drug store is what is recomended for a 2 stroke machine. Maxdlx

I store my machine with a full tank of gas so condensation does not form. I also store machines indoors where there is less of temperature change.

first siphon the water out then use isopropal alcohol only donot use any bought at a drug store because it contains 30 percent water buy it auto parts type store donot use dry gas as it is not copatable with 2 stroke

ask for 99% isopropanol at the drugs store counter and then it doesn't contain 30% water but rather less than 1%... about 300 ml to a full tank of gas and keep tank full before bringing it inside...

not at all familiar with modded engines of any sort so anyone who knows might want to chime in here... 300ml is like 2/3 of 1 percent (.0067) of the total fuel tank volume..... perfectly ok for stock sleds.... mods????
