Was up on the ny ty ride and there was a salvage yard across the street walked in and here is a perfectly 2004 viper that they bought off of a guy and I asked him how much for whole sled he said it is only being sold in parts what a waste ohlin shocks 500miles on it ripsaw track so I'm looking at it and noticed the seat was way better padded than mine and was going to buy a seat next year anyway or was thinking about it. He said $ 300.00 so i went and during are ride in between the fun stopped last morning of my last ride of the year and looked at it againthe one guy that was with me said why not ask them how much they would give you for yours he came out looked at it no ripps like brand new $100 so I figured why not seemed cheap but he might have to sit on that seat for along time before he gets rid of it you could tell he didn't understand why I wanted new seat until he asked me after I gave him $200 and my seat and he said he understood now but he thought I was crazy in the beginning so anyway instead of holding the other guys up on our last day I told him I'LL be back later after ride and switch well I was going to laod it up and go home and see how it felt next year but I could'nt do it took a 15 mile run and I think it was one of the best investment I made on the sled besides the updated shocks and that would be a close one. I was thinking of keeping old seat but if anything happens to this seat there would be no way I would put that thing back on.
