Looking For Some Pics Of Vipers With Either Aftermarket Handlebars And/or Risers?

Here's my handle bar treatment:
Stock bars
Cut 3/4" off each end
45* hooks
Aftermarket hand warmers that wrap around the bars
Full coverage grips
2 inch PowerMadd riser block
Sportech handguards
I really like this setup, I'm currently making something to fill the gap caused by the addition of the riser, I'm going to try a piece of black PVC pipe.

PV700 - did you need to extend your cables when installing the 2 inch powermadd?
I'm looking into installing one on my 03 viper and it looked tight?

Nope, never had to extend anything.
I just finished the PVC pipe spacer thingy, it looks great! (IMO). I used a piece of 4.5" OD pipe 4.5" long. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

first of all, y wpuld u cut come off your bars? the wider the bars, the better, next if anyone gets extensions get longer cables and DONT get the powermadd extension or any other extension with a junction box...3rd of all, wooly viper, yamahas can be extended 2.5 to 3 inches without extensions and if anyone is in the market fer a riser, DOnt get a block riser, they just extend the bars into your chest, get an articulating riser from powermadd or sportech, i have one of each...one 3 inch sportech on the venture and a 5.5 inch powermadd on the 97 MM .... sorry but i dnt have a viper or i wouold post pics bit just throwin out info! lol

If you are using bar hooks with the stock grips you may want to cut them because with the hooks so far out they can be hard to use, and the one on the right if you run it gets in the way on sharp right hand corners. thats what i have found anyway.
3" Sport tech articulating riser w/stock bars. I did use a cable extension w/block, and found that there wasn't enough cable free-play so i had to bend my throttle mount down just a touch!

Settle down big fella - I want the bars a touch higher for comfort - I was looking for 1-2 inch rise and the powermadd block looks like the right one. I wanted to be sure about the rise as I don't want to be changing cables or adding extensions. from my calculations, the 2 inch rise without the pivot will only move the bars an inch closer to me which is okay.

Black Viper is about the best looking one of all - I might have to paint the red one black.

You ca make the power madd extension work on a yamaha, you just drill the end that the stock cable goes in out, and slide the cable in farther, then tighten it down tight. I have a 4 inch riser, and put a power madd box type extension on my oil cable. Throttle cable was fine. Maxdlx

02 Viper-ProTaper Bars-3.5" Rox riser-NO Cable Extensions-with slack in the cables-my .02
1"powermadd block riser
this 1" block riser works well for me,i am only 5'8" this block riser i think opens the area between the knee and the handle bar pretty good when you are cornering, this also works well for me when i am standing as it is at the perfect sweet spot.yes i know its not a viper but gives a good look at the riser block.also no cable extension needed.RM

yea about the 2 inch solid riser... jsut tilt your bars forward after you put it on, it gets them out of your chest, and makes them feel a little higher.

isovibe with older srx bars, welded hook on lh, aluminum hook on the rh, stick on heaters with sportech grips slid over.
go with bars that are swept ahead so your knee dont hit in a hard corner with a bump.
