srxsrule had the exact set up with water temp on his viper a few years ago. i was privaledged to ride it for a few miles with his cpr set up in it. when i saw the guage set up and the performance i was hooked. i have the performance part down, i would love to find a set of those avengers dirt cheap to round out my viper package as well. nice set up there PV-7. ski

looks good, but I only want the one gauge, preferably a small round autometer gauge. sled is stock, no need for more than temp gauge.

Thats the same thing as me, I dont want to have to spend to much money so I was just thinking of a small round gauge also.

Gauges as requested
Here is the gauge I installed because I to was interested in accurate temp. and not just an idiot light. This setup seem to work fine for me. Very inexpensive also should not cost more than $60 or so. My 780 Viper runs at between 150 and 160 most of the time even when running wide open trail riding for long periods of time. When I veer off the trail into powder even with one running board in the snow the response on the digital guage is almost instant and you can watch the temp. decrease. You can easily find power under the hood and will have to run a wire to the sensor. Also have to drill and tap 1/8 npt for sensor in the head. Very easy installation. Hope its what your looking for.

I got a powederlites gauge kit, and am planning on cutting the ends off that mount to the handle bar and leave teh facotry gauge in its current position and sandwhich the mount between the plastic and the gauge, it will fit a single 2 5/8" gauge I might install my EGT there that I got from redline if it doesn sell. Should look money, look under www.powderlites.com under turbo section you can see the a rxi gauge panel with a boost gauge mounted should work in the viper we shall see.

aluminum spigot adapters
Who sells (or makes) the adapters to place the sending unit in the coolant line?
Thanks
