Price on 700 SXR

This sled isn't that far from me and I've been looking for a new sled for my wife. I obviously need to go and have a look at it but given the listing what is a fair selling range for this sled? Thanks, Ken

The price on Ebay seems good. The same sleds are going for $4500 sometimes around here.

i think fair price would be closer to 3,000 now remember that is american funds.......

i sold a 600 sxr with a few more miles (5000) last year for 2600 in MI and felt that was fair.... i think blue book was close to 3300 so if you could get that one for under 3000 you would be doing good....

I'm considering going $3000.00 US, I think that is a fair price.

That would end up costing me about 3000.00 X 1.18 = $3540 Canadian Then another $200 for Customs and another 15% tax for a grand total of about 4300.00 Canadian. I have to call customs and double check on the fees though.

For what it's worth... I sold my '00 600SXR a few months back for $2300. It was super clean with 2500 miles on it.

Then purchased an 02 viper with alum trailer for $3200 w/500 miles on it.

They are hard to find in Canada and the same sled would sell in the area of $4500.00 Canadian, plus tax. My local dealer has a 99 SXR 700 and they are ASKING $4300.00.......I'd buy a new sled before I paid that much for a 99.

I went and looked at the sled......it appears that there was some thought put into the taking of the photo's.....pictures can be deceiving!! I will say that I keep my sleds in really good condition and have high expectations but this sled was really rough.

- both slide rails are worn completely through the aluminum that the slider slides onto on the curve of the rail for about 8", there is about 1/4" of aluminum worn away, needs both rails replaced.

- some track guide clips are missing and others are worn badly, probably needs a new track.

- skis are in bad shape, piece right ski torn/worn away.

- chunk out of the seat on the righ side, not visible in pictures.

- belly pan is pretty banged up, lots of white stree marks in the blue plastic.

- whole sled is just plain rough, losts of rust on trailing arms, windshield not properly attached, looks like it has had a couple of sets of mirrors mounted on it.


Basically it looks like some did this to it......
