I have an '02 Viper with Dalton 51/41 helix, green sec. spring. Question is:after 1/8 mile run on lake with 2-3 in. of loose snow the rpms climb to 9000, if I'm on hard pack the rpms stay at 8500 perfectly. If I add the 4.5 grams rivet on inner hole will it affect my engagement rpms, and will I need to change sec. spring twist?

54/41 is kinda low. Changing the inner rivet will help & will only slightly decrease enagement. With that helix go back to a red secondary spring at 80 wrap.

Thanks, I'll give it a try! You think the 51/41 isn't aggressive enough to matter vs. stock?

The inner hole is 4.5 grams stock correct? I need to replace the tip weight(outer hole) with a 4.5 gram rivet, not the inner hole.

Isn't the outer rivet 4.5g and the inner 3.6g on the stock Viper.......
